If you do not retrieve a result like this, then it is possible that your JDK has not been installed.įollow the instructions below to install Java Development Kit.Refer to section Installing on Windows from Binary Distribution for instructions on setting the JAVA_HOME. Otherwise, set your JAVA_HOME environment variable correctly. If you are unsure of this, re-installation of the JDK is recommended. You should ensure that the installation files in this folder are intact. If your results retrieve a folder with the name "jdk" immediately followed by a series of version numbers (for example, jdk1.6.0_27), then your JDK is installed.Run a complete directory search (using the "All File and Folders" option if available) on your drives for the occurrence of "jdk" in the file name.
